Regeneron is a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. In addition to ARCALYST (rilonacept) Injection for Subcutaneous Use, its first commercialized product, Regeneron has evaluated therapeutic candidates in Phase 3 clinical trials for the potential treatment of gout, diseases of the eye (wet age-related macular degeneration and central retinal vein occlusion), and certain cancers. Additional therapeutic candidates are in earlier stage development programs in rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions, pain, cholesterol reduction, allergic and immune conditions, and cancer.
The Immune and Inflammatory Diseases (I&I) Group is looking for a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Scientist. The ideal candidate will be part of a team responsible for the investigation and understanding of immunological systems pertaining to human disease.
Core responsibilities include the application of immunological assays and animal models to drive better mechanistic understanding possibly leading to improved models (for screening and characterization of therapeutic antibodies) or the discovery of novel disease targets.
Requirements
The candidate should have experience with basic molecular biology techniques and immunology skills such as ELISA, cell-based bioassays, FACS, as well as with animal models. The qualified individual will possess a Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Biology or related medical science (0 to 2 years or post-doctoral experience). Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Prism, FlowJo and statistical analysis programs. Attention to detail coupled with an aptitude for learning is highly desirable, as is experience with biological analysis of microarray data .
